The BastoniPanel was designed for
use in a 2’ x 2’ suspended acoustic ceiling “T-bar”
grid. It offers all the benefits of treble diffusion, bass absorption
and bass trapping found in our Bastoni diffuser system. This product
is perfect for providing the diffusion needed in high end listening
rooms. In a nutshell, you get three acoustic properties in one
product. If allowed to vent into the ceiling, the Panel provides
bass absorption to less than 20 Hz. It’s also not limited
to use in a “T-bar” grid, the BastoniPanel can also
be mounted with 4 screws to a wall or ceiling.

Finish Quality The standard BastoniPanel measures 3” thick
by 2’ square. There is much more than a simple fabric covered
fiberglass block here, each panel is a carefully engineered diffuser/absorber,
tuned to perform day in and day out for many years. Each unit
is covered by acoustically transparent Gilford 701 fabric which
hides the poly diffusers and absorptive inserts without interfering
with the acoustics. A perforated backer board allows venting of
bass frequency sound into the ceiling. The venting feature also
allows absorption down to very low frequencies. BastoniPanels
are available covered with 5
standard Guilford of Maine 701 fabrics, or choose from
many special order colors to match your specific needs.

to Fit Almost Anywhere Any studio live room, home theater or high end
listening room is a perfect candidate for this product. When surface
mounted, the amount and frequency of bass absorption will be limited,
however, the treble diffusion feature will be the same.
